Approve Photos, Stories & Condolences

Approve Photos

When an online visitor shares a photo, and if the approval process is turned on, the funeral home can approve any photos that have been uploaded within the Book of Memories.

Navigate to Main > Book of Memories > Approve Photos.

For any photo(s) you approve, click inside the ‘Approve’ radio button beside the photo(s). For any photo(s) you do not approve, click inside the ‘Reject’ radio button beside the photo(s). To approve or reject all photos, use the buttons at the top right.

When complete, select the button.

Any photos that are approved, will appear within the Book of Memories.

*If you wish to turn the approval process off, refer to the Global BOM Settings page. If you would like to leave the approval process up to the family, make sure you have created and provided them with a login to their loved one’s Book of Memories.

Approve Stories

If an online visitor shares a story, and if the approval process is turned on, the funeral home can approve any stories before they are visible on the Book of Memories.

Navigate to Main > Book of Memories > Approve Stories.

For any story that you approve, click inside the ‘Approve’ radio button beside the story. For any story you do not approve, click inside the ‘Reject’ radio button beside the story. To approve or reject all stories, use the buttons at the top right.

When complete, select the button.

Any stories that are approved, will appear within the Book of Memories.

*If you wish to turn the approval process off, refer to the Global BOM Settings page. If you would like to leave the approval process up to the family, make sure you have created and provided them with a login to their loved one’s Book of Memories.

Approve Condolences

If an online visitor sends a condolence, and if the approval process is turned on, the funeral home can approve any condolence before they are visible on the Book of Memories.

Navigate to Main > Book of Memories > Approve Condolences.

For any condolence that you approve, click inside the ‘Approve’ radio button beside the condolence. For any condolence you do not approve, click inside the ‘Remove’ radio button beside the condolence. To approve or reject all condolences, use the buttons at the top right.

When complete, select the button.

Any condolences that are approved, will appear within the Book of Memories.

*If you wish to turn the approval process off, refer to the Global BOM Settings page. If you would like to leave the approval process up to the family, make sure you have created and provided them with a login within the record.
