The Reminder Service is a great tool for your funeral firm’s staff and the clergy that officiates at funeral services to remain in contact with families who have entrusted you to care for their loved ones. You will be notified one week prior to the anniversary of death. This reminder will allow you to reach out to families at what will no doubt be a difficult time. This feature is a wonderful way to help demonstrate your caring commitment to your families.
By default, the reminder service for clergy members is enabled.
The clergy member information is found within System Settings > Databases > Clergy Members.
Click on a clergy member’s name to edit, or click ‘Add Clergy’ to add a new member. If you wish to disable the anniversary notification, check the ‘disable anniversary notification’ box. Save.
By default, the reminder service for the funeral home is enabled.
The funeral home profile is found within System Settings > System Profile > Profile.
If you wish to disable the anniversary notification, scroll down to the ‘Other’ section and uncheck the ‘enable death anniversary notiication’ box. Save.
Anyone who leaves a message in their loved one’s Book of Memories, and includes an email address, will be notified one week prior to the anniversary of death. If you wish to disable, open the record and navigate to Book of Memories > Theme. Check the box to ‘disable anniversary notification for this record’.
